Samrat Industries Speciality Limited manufactured product RCC TMT Bar Corrosion Inhibitor is a ready to use liquid for integral corrosion inhibitor of concrete and mortar. It can be applied on steel bars as protective coating to prevent corrosion. The mechanism for corrosion prevention by RCC TMT Bar Corrosion Inhibitor is that it helps to form a passive membrane on the surface of reinforcing steel.

RCC TMT Bar Corrosion Inhibitor is recommended for use where marine sand or subsoil waters containing high soluble salts are present in concrete.

Also for long life of reinforcing steel bars in concrete, the protective film on the surface of the reinforcing steel prevents rusting and consequently impairs concrete durability.

Application and Dosage
RCC TMT Bar Corrosion Inhibitor is added to concrete mix at the point of use along with cement, sand, aggregate and water. The dosage of 1% of RCC TMT Bar Corrosion Inhibitor by weight of cement or 500 gms/bag of cement (50Kg) is adequate.

For steel bars: 600 gm of the product with 1 Kg of cement to be added and stir it properly. Then apply with a brush on steel bars.

Handling Measures and Precautions
Proper human safety products such as splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected. Storage
This Product should be stored in original containers in cool and dry place, away from sources of heat, flame and direct sunlight. Please refer Technical Data Sheet, Label and MSDS for more details and Shelf Life: 2 years if stored properly.

RCC TMT Bar Corrosion Inhibitor is available in 220 Kgs barrels.

Building Chemicals are Polymelamine Formaldehyde Sulfonate based concrete superplasticizer and water reducing admixture which helps in increasing the workability of concrete and allow a water reduction upto 10%. It is used to impart excellent fluidity at low dosage, high strength and durability.

Water Reducing Agents are referred to as special chemical products that are added to a concrete admixture before it is poured for further processing. Lignosulfonates were first used as Water Reducing Agents. The main function of the water reducing agent is that it aids in the reduction of water quantity while the making of a concrete admixture. It thereby provides higher compactness to dry concrete and increases the cement mixture workability. Water Reducing Agent, in other terms, functions similarly as Superplasticizer.
