Dispersant and Biodispersant

Samrat Industries Polymeric Dispersant removes the silt deposits from the fins, louvers and pipelines during normal service. It is a polymer and surfactant based product which breaks the clay deposits and remove them with blow down water. It is a neutral pH product and does not cause any corrosion to the system metal during use. It can be dosed manually to the cooling tower sump on a daily basis or can be dosed continuously with a dosing pump.

It works using a combination of chelation, crystal modification and the threshold effect, and is effective against a wide range of scalants including calcium and magnesium hardness, iron oxide and silica. It converts the scaling material into a light mobile floc, which can be blown down easily. It will gradually re-disperse old deposits and may be used as part of a maintenance \92clean up\92 program.

Application and Dosage
Treatment and dosage for Samrat Industries Polymeric Dispersant is normally dosed to maintain 50-100 ppm in the system, although, if it is being used as part of a \91clean up\92 programme, higher levels may be maintained.

Samrat Industries Polymeric Dispersant is compatible with other commonly used treatments and can be dosed from the same mixing tank.

Handling measures and precautions
Proper human safety products such as Splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected. Samrat Industries CT Fills Cleaner is an online product that is self performing and does not incur down-time or man power for CT fills cleaning.

Samrat Industries CT Fills Cleaner also helps in descaling the condenser tubes to some extent. It is effective on calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scales.

Application and Dosage
Samrat Industries CT Fills Cleaner should be dosed directly to the cooling tower deck preferably or to the sump (basin), if former is not possible.

The dosage rate shall be:- For light fouling (periodic dosage): 2kg per 10,000ltrs water for thrice a week
For medium fouling:- 5kgs per 10,000ltrs water for thrice a week
For heavy fouling:- 10kgs per 10,000ltrs water for four - five times a week
