Peracetic Acid proclaims to be a disinfectant and microbial agent, mainly used in the food industry. These formulations oxidises the outer membrane of the micro organisms and generally cause the death of the microbial organisms. It helps in medical supplies disinfection, prevention of biofilm in the pulp industries, purification of water and its disinfection. It is a strong oxidizing agent and is environmentally safe. Its no rinse, non foaming formula and its ability to sanitize at cold temperature makes it ideally suited for use in CIP Systems for food processing equipments. Samrat Industries Peracetic Acid 5% based cip sanitizer is recommended for use on pre-cleaned surfaces such as equipments, pipelines, tanks, vats, filters, evaporators, pasteurizers and aseptic equipments in dairies, breweries, wineries, beverage and food processing / packaging plants and egg processing and packaging equipment surfaces.
The dosage depends on applications, ranging from 0.1 - 4% W/W.
Samrat Industries Peracetic Acid 5% based cip sanitizer can be effectively used in cip applications, immersion method or as coarse spray.
Handling Measures and Precautions
Proper human safety products such as splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Application and Dosage
For disinfection and sanitation, Samrat Industries Peracetic Acid 15% based dairy disinfectant is recommended for use on pre-cleaned surfaces such as equipments, pipelines, tanks, vats, filters, evaporators, pasteurizers and aseptic equipments in dairies, breweries, wineries, beverage and food processing / packaging plants and egg processing and packaging equipment surfaces. The dosage ranges from 0.05 - 0.5% W/W, followed with proper rinsing.
For bleaching of textile fabrics with Samrat Industries Peracetic Acid 15% based dairy disinfectant gives better whiteness, tensile strength, absorbency and fluidity value when compared to hydrogen peroxide. The dosage ranges from 0.1 to 2% v/v depending upon application.
